R.K.M - AI Knowledge Database
RKM Brandschutzservice, acting as an external fire safety officer and providing practical fire extinguisher training, supports numerous companies throughout Austria. In their daily work, the team must constantly search through extensive standards, TRVB guidelines, and testing guidelines to find the appropriate reference for customer inquiries and reports, often across multiple cross-referenced documents. The project's goal was to make this expertise centrally searchable and significantly reduce research time for recurring standards-related questions, without relinquishing technical control over the answers.
Project
Previously, the RKM team had to manually sift through hundreds of pages of TRVB guidelines and testing guidelines for every standards-related question, trace cross-references between documents, and manually transfer the relevant information into reports. DigitalArk developed an AI-powered knowledge database to address this, making all relevant standards and guidelines centrally searchable. Employees submit their questions in plain language, and the AI searches all stored documents, including cross-references, and delivers a clearly formulated answer with precise source information for the standard, section, and point. Every statement remains verifiable in its original form, and the team retains the final decision. The solution is directly integrated into the existing work environment, eliminating the need to switch between applications. New standard versions are continuously added.
